It depend by the train you’ll get
By train you can get to Venice from Rome in 04:27h (whit the eurostar), 05:33h (with the intercity)..
You can get to Florence from Rome in 2h (with the eurostar)
Tou can get to Sicily from florence in about 10 hours!! (You can get the plane! ^_^)…
