    You can’t visit all Sicily in three days. Choose either the West or the East of the island (which is simpler for your plan).
    In the West you have to visit the wonderful city of Palermo, the village of Monreale with its cathedral and, a little apart, the Greek Temples of Agrigento.
    In the East: Catania, the second city of Sicily, a little less beautiful than Palermo but interesting, Siracusa and Taormina with their Greek monuments.

    Wow… Tough Question! Three days are so few and Sicily is so big and fascinating… almost 400 towns on the entire island!!!
    Depends on what you are interested in and where you will be;
    Palermo was the royal seat and is the regional capital… here is the architecture, museums, high-end stores etc
    The two best smaller cities (provincial capitals) are, without a doubt Siracusa and Ragusa. The former is famous for it’s old city center and nightlife, the latter for it’s fantastic restaurants and culinary culture.
    Touristic towns to see are Taormina (Messina) and Cefalu (Palermo), as well as all of the villages on the Eolie (Lipari) Islands off the coast of Messina.
    For off-the-beaten-path villages which are wonderful, you may want to try Forza d’Agro and Savoca – both in Messina and both wonderful. (They are also the site of the filming of the Godfather!) Try Bronte, too… Capital of the Pistacchio!
    Sites to see are Etna, Piazza Armerina, Gole Alcantara, the temples of Agrigento etc etc etc etc etc
    …and the list continues!! Those are the must sees – so I hope that helps.
