i travelled to sicily for 3.5 months june5-aug17,2006, i dont have any entry stamps on my passport to sicily, and in july 18th i have an entry stamp to johannasburg, which i didnt travel. is it possible there are two passports with my identity, maybe someone switched passports once i entered sicily, and somehow reswitched before i left the country. i also have an email to this address (Benvenuto in Microsoft Passport Network) the msg is italian) which i did not send for. my husband works on a rig, and the rig was stationed there for the 3.5 months. my husband did travel back to cape town for two weeks june 22 thru july6, 2006. and he does know my email password. he is the only person who had access to my passport. is it possible that there are two copies of my passport. and they were getting switched while my stay in sicily. i ask because i have no entry stamps to sicily, only entry stamps in my return to cape town. and i have an entry stamp to johannasburg. july 18,2006, i didntdo

    You should contact the American Embassy immediately. Take your passport with you and and any documents or anything else that can prove where you were at these different times.

    Go to the embassy and let them know, they will probably cancel the passport you have now and reissue you one just to be sure, but if anther passport is ever used as entry to the states… will certainly get napped by Homeland Security!
