Is 2 Weeks Too Much Time To Travel In Sicily?

I’m thinking about spending two weeks in Sicily during late April -early May. Everyone i have told this thinks I am crazy. Is there enough to do to occupy 2 weeks? If so, what are your suggestions. Also, since I am a poor student, I will be taking the train and not renting a car. Is this feasible?

We will be going to Italy this year on our vacation. My husband was born about an hour outside of Rome. We plan on staying two weeks.

on each place on earth you can stay and visit a lot of things. If you like to stay in Sicily for two weeks, do it.
There is a lot to see: Palermo, Etna, Messina, Cattania, Syracuse,….
    Don’t forget the Mafia ….
