met someone in Cuba from Catania, Sicily and he wants to come to Canada to see me. I would rather meet him somewhere sunny as there won’t be much to do in Saskatchewan, Canada…especially since neither of us speak each others language well. Canadian have three very popular choices for sunny vacations…Cuba, Mexico and Dominican Republic. The prices for each are simular. Is it more common and/or less expensive for those from Italy to travel to one of those destinations from Rome? Or would it be cheaper for him to come to Canada? I don’t want to burden him with expenses and would like to make the most of our time and $$.
He isn’t much of a texter and is very laid back so I am having trouble trying to decide something with him….oh and that whole language barrier thing too doesn’t help…ha ha.
Thanks for your help

Hi. Im a 22 year old. I will be studying with a mate in Sweden on exchange from Australia for 5 months. Afterwards I have booked a 20 day ‘topdeck’ tour to see London, France, Belgium, Holland, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Italy, and Czech Republic (all at least the capital cities of each for a day).
Where else do you recommend I go? What should I do in each of there places? I have 2 more weeks of travel after this tour, and was thinking of seeing Sicily, Spain, and Portugal, then finishing off in Frankfurt, Germany to fly out of. What do you think?
Would be great to hear some recommendations or past travel experiences!
Thanks!!

For example… on a vacation, layover, business travel etc…
For me, I had a blast in Australia, Singapore, Sicily and a few others.
